The Director's of the Miss Valley of the Sun & Miss Yavapai County Scholarship Organizations are coming together to create the Arizona Desert Competition, another local competition, for the 2023 Miss Arizona Competition. We will be awarding an additional 6 titles!
The new titles from this competition will be split, 3 titles will join the Valley of the Sun Team and will have the local Directors of Caitlyn Dempsey & Erin Stremcha. The other 3 titles will join the Miss Yavapai County Team (Team Pineapple) and will have the local Directors of Carrie & Gage Brumbaugh. While both organizations have different requirements during your year, either way, if you title, you will have amazing directors who will help prepare and guide you through your year as a titleholder and prepare you for the Miss Arizona (Outstanding Teen) competition in June of 2023! We can't wait to meet you!
*Please note, all payments for this competition (except Miss America Registration Fees) will be processed through the Miss Yavapai County Scholarship Organization. Both the Miss Yavapai County Scholarship Organization and the Miss Valley of the Sun Scholarship Organization are 501(c)(3) Charities and will share costs and profits to aid their organizations in providing scholarships and opportunties for the titleholders.

All candidates MUST register on the Miss America website and pay a one time $35 fee. Clicking the Registration button will take you to the Miss America Website.

After you register on the Miss America website, you will need to also register for the Arizona Desert Competition. At this time, this link is unavailable and will be provided as soon as it is available. Miss are required to pay a $75 fee, Teens must register but no fee is due.
Ad Page Payment
All candidates are REQUIRED to sell at least 1 ad page for our program book. Ad pages are $100 for a full page (8.5 x 11) color ad. Payments are securely processed through Square (no account needed)
Purchase Tickets to the Competition
All candidates are REQUIRED to sell at least 10 tickets to our local competition. Tickets are $20 each. Payments are securely processed through Square (no account needed)

Each candidate will be eligible for the People's Choice award that comes with a $100 scholarship for the Miss and Teen winners. Votes are only $1 each!
