Meet our Board of Directors
Carrie was born in Missouri and raised in Kansas and Ohio. After also living in Georgia and North Carolina, she moved to Prescott in 2014 to reunite with, and marry, her high school sweetheart, Gage.
Once settled in Prescott, Carrie became involved with the youth in the quad cities area through volunteering as a Big Sister with Yavapai Big Brothers Big Sisters. Her desire to help, led her to taking a position as a Match Advisor from 2016-2017.
Carrie earned a B.S. in Business Administration and Marketing from the New England College of Business & Finance. She has experience in marketing and an understanding of the challenges facing non-profit organizations.
Carrie is an advocate for secondary education and, as a scholarship organization, the Miss Yavapai County Organization is a great partner. She is excited to help our local community with scholarship opportunities and empowering our young women to find their voice, confidence and passion.
Gage was born in Omaha, Nebraska, and had lived in Iowa and Ohio prior to moving to Prescott in 2001. He attended Yavapai College and fell in love with the small town feel of Prescott. In 2009 he reconnected with his high school sweetheart Carrie and they married in 2015.
He has several years theater experience, on stage and in production. He has been engaged in various mediums of art from a young age, photography is his passion. He received his degree in Graphic Design/Photography from Yavapai College and previously owned a Design, Photo, and Print Shop. He is currently a Big Brother with Yavapai Big Brothers Big Sisters.
“I was drawn into the organization because of my wife’s involvement and stayed to become part of the team because it’s an opportunity to be part of an amazing program. Empowering young women to better themselves and expand their horizons by helping the community in their own unique way.”
